In steel rolling mills there are many dc and ac converters installed for variable speed control of motors application throughout the plant. The electrical pollution or harmonic generated from all power electronics converters can cause component failure or mal-function operation in the plant. Our APF(Active Power Filter) were installed successfully to reduce major harmonic order in the system and also improve power factor of the main supply.
