  • Project Title: 20kV Static Var Generator (SVG) Turnkey Installation for Heavy Industry in ASEAN
  • The Challenge: A major industrial plant in the region faced severe power quality issues, including low Power Factor (PF) and high harmonic distortion in their high-voltage grid. This led to frequent equipment tripping, costly downtime, and potential utility penalties.
  • Our Solution: VR MASTER’s engineering team conducted a detailed power quality analysis and implemented a comprehensive 20kV Static Var Generator (SVG) Turnkey Solution. The scope covered custom engineering design, sourcing of world-class components, on-site installation, and successful commissioning.
  • The Result:
    • Achieved dynamic, real-time Power Factor correction close to 0.99.
    • Successfully suppressed harmonic distortion to meet strict international grid compliance.
    • Enhanced total grid stability, eliminated unexpected downtime, and optimized energy efficiency for the plant.
