In 2015, VR MASTER was awarded a 56-million Baht contract to upgrade the automation and drives system for the wire rod rolling mill at Amsteel Mills, Malaysia. This major project was entrusted to us following the successful completion of two previous upgrade projects in 2009 and 2013.

The scope of supply included:

  • AC and DC drives panels for the wire rod mill

  • Complete automation system

  • Loop scanners

  • Engineering and commissioning services

  • Operator and maintenance training
