In 2024, VR MASTER was officially entrusted with a major contract by a prominent Indonesian customer for their new Plate Mill Expansion Project. This project highlights our engineering expertise in delivering high-performance electrical and drive systems for heavy-duty industrial applications.

In mid-June 2022, VR MASTER was awarded a contract to upgrade the automation system of the wire rod mill at Tata Steel Manufacturing (Thailand) – SISCO Plant. The scope of supply included local control cabinets, PLCs with remote I/O, HMI SCADA systems, project management, hardware engineering, PLC and HMI software development, erection and installation, commissioning, training, and production support.

In 2015, VR MASTER was awarded a 56-million Baht contract to upgrade the automation and drives system for the wire rod rolling mill at Amsteel Mills, Malaysia.

In 2011, VR MASTER was awarded a 25-million Baht contract to upgrade the automation system—including shear drives—for the rolling mill and shearing lines at SCSC, Thailand.

In 2005, VR MASTER was awarded a 30-million Baht contract to deliver a complete automation and DC drives system—including DC motors and sensors—for a new bar rolling mill at JS STEEL, Thailand.

In 2009, VR MASTER was awarded a contract by Indorama Polyester Industries (IPI) in Thailand to upgrade the automation and drive systems for its fiber line process and associated machinery.

In 2019, VR MASTER, in collaboration with our partner M/S, was awarded an order to design, supply, and commission AC drives and a modern control system for batch sugar centrifugal machines at Prachuap Sugar, Thailand. The project involved replacing the existing DC drive system with energy-efficient AC drives to improve reliability and significantly reduce maintenance costs associated with the aging DC equipment.

In 2016, VR MASTER was awarded a 16-million Baht contract by the KSL Group for the supply of DC drive and control systems for sugar centrifugal machines at their facilities in Khon Kaen and Loei, Thailand. This project delivered a comprehensive upgrade solution—featuring newly engineered drive panels, advanced controllers, and modern HMI panels—significantly enhancing performance compared to the classic-style systems previously supplied in 2008.

In 2010, VR MASTER was awarded a contract to supply DC drives and control systems for sugarcane milling operations at TRR Group facilities in Thailand and Phnom Penh Sugar in Cambodia.

In 2013, VR MASTER was awarded a contract to deliver a complete automation system—including Smart MCC and VFD panels—for the wet scrubber system at VINAKRAFT Paper in Vietnam.

In 2006, VR MASTER secured a 10 million Baht contract to provide the automation system for SCG Cement’s new K-Cement plant in Cambodia. The project involved close collaboration with SCG’s engineering team on the system design, and commissioning. Kampot Cement, established in 2005 as a joint venture between SCG Cement and a Cambodian partner, is the largest cement producer in Cambodia.

In 2008, VR MASTER was awarded a contract by Schneider Electric (Thailand) to supply, engineering, and commissioning the PLC systems for the backwash and filtration plants at the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) in Bangkok, Thailand.
